…then put your 49ers hat on. Long Beach State has a sizable athletics program that’s populated with athletes talented enough to entertain even the pickiest of sports fans. And these days, it’s a lot easier to cheer on your team when the tickets don’t cost you a week’s worth of food. Case in point: Long Beach State is participating in NCAA Women’s Basketball’s “Pack the House Challenge” to increase awareness about the women’s game at the college level. As part of this promotion, ticket prices for the January 8 game are just $3 at the door. $3! You could probably find that under the seat of your car. So mark it on your calender; the lady 49ers will take on Pacific at the Walter Pyramid at 1 pm.

Ticket prices for Long Beach State Women’s Basketball are normally $8-10, which is about the same price as a beer at Staples Center. If you prefer the men’s game, those tickets are roughly $10-17.
