Free Harbor Cruises out of Shoreline Village
This summer, Shoreline Village is continuing its tradition of offering free “Hump Day” lunch cruises to the first 80 passengers who show up. While free stuff to do is generally pretty popular, this is one of those things that falls into the category of best-kept secrets. If you have the time to spare, the free lunch cruise is a great way to break up your work week, entertain the kids or explore Long Beach’s Shoreline Village and Rainbow Harbor.
Now, here’s the fine print. You have to order a box lunch from one of four restaurants in the Village and show up at the Boardwalk entrance to Spirit Cruises before noon. Drinks must be purchased on the boat. For lunch, your options are priced between $6 and $8.99; the restaurants offering the box lunches are Gitana, Springbok, Stefano’s Pizza and Tugboat Pete’s. The cruise leaves at noon and returns at 12:30. You can find anything else you need to know at Shoreline Village’s website.
